Fish Sulfa Forte (Sulfamethoxazole, Trimethoprin, SMZ/TMP 960mg) exerts a bactericidal action on gram-negative bacteria. It is effective against a number of pathogentic bacteria associated with ornamental fish diseases, including areomonas and pseudomonas genera and mysobacterial group.

15-30 mg/Kg (7-14 mg/lb) every 12 hours orally. Do not give to Dobermans. Fish Sulfa Forte is commonly given off-label to small animals. Clinical use includes urinary tract infections, respiratory, pneumonia and skin infections. Do not administer in animals with sensitivity to sulfonamides. Dobermans may be more sensitive than other species and caution is advised
