Revolution is a broad-spectrum medication used to protect your pet from external and internal parasites. The primary use associated with Revolution is flea control and is not a pesticide. Revolution kills both the eggs and the adult fleas, effectively stopping the flea life cycle and protecting your pet. Revolution flea control medication is fast, simple and easy to use with a low-volume dosage size. Revolution is so convenient that you only need to apply the medication in one spot on your pet. Revolution also can prevent your pet from developing heartworms. If the Revolution is replacing another heartworm medication used for prevention you must apply Revolution within a month of the last dose of the other heartworm medication to continue the protection given to your pet.

Apply to the skin (not the coat) at a place where it cannot be licked off (ie. between the shoulders). Empty the entire contents onto the skin. One tube should be applied to your dog or cat monthly. A range of products are available to suit your kitten, cat, puppy or dog.

Do not use Revolution on animals allergic to it. Do not use on puppies under 6 weeks or kittens under 8 weeks of age. Use with caution in sick, weak or underweight animals. Revolution appears to be safe to use in pregnant or lactating dogs or cats. Do not apply to wet hair. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm disease prior to using Revolution.
Side effects when using Revolution may include temporary hair loss, loss of appetite, drooling, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, rapid breathing, increased heart rate, and muscle tremors. In the event of overdose contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room. Symptoms of overdose, while rare, may include salivation and incoordination.
