This medicine is a quinolone antibiotic and corticosteroid combination used to treat inner ear infections in children who have tubes in the ear. It is also used to treat outer ear infections such as swimmer's ear. This medicine is used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria. This medicine should not be used to treat ear infections caused by viruses.

SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while using this medicine include discomfort, pain, or itching in the ear. If they continue or become bothersome check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience ringing in the ears, ear tingling, or decreased hearing. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to this medicine is unlikely but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
